The website does not store any cookies in your browser — whether technical, analytics or marketing cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party measurement tools, nor advertising or social media plugins.
When redirecting you based on your browser language, or after you choose a language manually, the language gateway on the home page stores in the browser’s temporary storage (sessionStorage) only a flag indicating that a language has already been chosen, so that it does not redirect you again. This value stays on your device, is not sent to the server, is deleted when you close the browser and is not personal data.
2Traffic measurement from server logs
For every request, our server records: the IP address, date and time, the requested page, the result of the request, the browser and operating system type (User-Agent), the referring page (referer) and the country derived from the IP address (DB-IP database, country level only).
Purpose: operational security (detecting attacks, scanning and abuse) and aggregate statistics — how many people visited the website, which pages they read, from which countries and in which language.
Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Nothing is stored on your device in the process, so no consent is required under the Czech Electronic Communications Act.
We do not combine the data with other databases, we do not profile you and we do not share the data with third parties. The statistics are visible only to authorised Elvian staff in an internal interface.
3Retention period
Records containing an IP address are kept for no longer than 90 days and are then deleted automatically. We retain aggregate statistics (numbers of visits by day, page and country) without IP addresses.
4External services
We load fonts from the Google Fonts service (Google LLC). When a page loads, your browser technically passes your IP address to Google’s servers; no cookies are stored in the process.
Data from web forms (demo booking, contact) are processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice, Section 12.
5Your rights
You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR); you also have the right of access, rectification and erasure. Write to info@elvian.cz. The supervisory authority is the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz).
